Track and Field, Wheelchair Rugby. Competed in the 100m and 200m race at Stoke Mandeville (1984) and Seoul (1988) Paralympic Games. In 1996, Ellery received gold and held the world record for the 100m at the World Championships in Guttenberg, Sweden. He also received gold in the 200m. Voted “Athlete of the Year” by Sport of the Disabled in 1986. He also competed in wheelchair rugby.
