Competed in athletics and boccia. Developed a new era for cerebral palsy athletes in Canada, mainly competing in C2 events. Established three World Records in the following classified categories: the 100m in 1987, the 800m in 1989, and the 400m in 1991. She also set a national 100m record at the Ontario Games for the Physical Disabled in 1990. Her Paralympic record includes three gold medals at the 1984 New York/Stoke Mandeville Games, and one bronze medal at the 1988 Seoul Games, in the 200m, 60m, Shalom (Leg), and 4 x100m, respectively.
